Goalong Brand Story

Goalong Spirits brand began in 2011, the brand name originated from the founder of the company, Mr. Gao Kailang, the English name is Goalong, from the GaoLang harmonic, the meaning is to go forward and forge ahead, but also the entrepreneurial spirit of Goalong Spirits.

2012-2013

Hunan Goalong Spirits (Buro) Co., Ltd. was established in 2012 and opened in 2013.
2014-2015

In 2014-2015 Mr. Gao Kailang sowed the desire for Chinese whisky, began to prepare for the first whisky steaming hall factory within the group, installed into the earth taboo brewing steaming hall equipment,
2016-2017

After making an experimental breakthrough in 2016-2017, Mr. Gao chose Liuyang, Hunan Province as the location for the first whisky distillery in the Group. Construction of Gowlland (Liuyang) Distillery.
2017-2019

In 2017-2019, Mr. Gao Kailang traveled to several countries and began a long and fulfilling global whisky journey.
2021

2017-2021 Four years later, Gowlland distillery was officially put into production.
